A Thoughtful Approach to Early Learning

Our program blends structured academics, social-emotional development, and hands-on experiences to help children grow with confidence—both in and beyond the classroom.

Our Program

A Strong Foundation for Early Learning

Our preschool program supports the whole child through intentional teaching, consistent routines, and meaningful daily practice of early academics and life skills.

We focus on building confident learners, kind classmates, and the learning behaviors that help children thrive in school.

A Day at Happy Time

Explore Our
Enrichment Experiences

Each enrichment opportunity is thoughtfully designed to support confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

Our weekly riding lessons are a cherished part of the Happy Time experience.

Under careful supervision, children have the opportunity to ride and learn how to care for our gentle ponies—building confidence, balance, and coordination along the way.

Children also learn how to approach, groom, and interact with the horses in a calm and respectful way, developing empathy, patience, and a quiet sense of self-assurance that naturally carries into the classroom.

Learning Through Movement & Trust

Pony Riding

Children actively participate in tending our garden throughout the year—from planting seeds to watering, weeding, and harvesting.

Through this hands-on experience, they begin to understand the full cycle of growth and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Gardening encourages patience, responsibility, and pride in their work. When vegetables are ready, children often help harvest and may bring home what they’ve grown—a meaningful and tangible connection to their efforts.

Learning to Grow

Gardening

Children have the opportunity to help care for our chickens and interact with animals under teacher guidance.

Through feeding, collecting eggs, and practicing calm, gentle interaction, children learn responsibility through daily routines while developing empathy and respect for living things.

These experiences encourage self-regulation, kindness, and a sense of connection to the world around them—skills that naturally support positive classroom behavior.

Gentle Hands, Caring Heart

Animal Care & Responsibility

Music is woven into daily life at Happy Time through singing, movement, and group participation.

In addition, a dedicated music teacher visits twice a week to lead interactive classes where children are introduced to rhythm, instruments, and simple musical concepts.

Through music, children develop listening skills, memory, language, and confidence expressing themselves in a group setting.

Rhythm, Confidence & Joy

Music

Children are introduced to Spanish through songs, greetings, and simple everyday phrases in a playful, age-appropriate way.

Early language exposure supports cognitive flexibility, listening skills, and cultural awareness—while helping children feel confident exploring new ways of communication.
